- We are looking for a motivated person who is keen to engage with stakeholders to provide customer service and create value for the community;
- The ideal candidate will be proactive and dedicated to the provision of a quality community grants program with a high attention to detail;
- Permanent full time position, 35 hours per week;
- Salary range between $59,929.72 - $69,893.67 per annum + superannuation.

The successful applicant will be responsible for provision of efficient and effective support for Central Coast Council Community Grants Programs.
Key activities of this role include:
- Provide expertise in the maintenance of electronic grant management process through smartygrants for all relevant grant programs;
- Assist with the coordination of Club Grants and Council’s Community Grant Programs up to funding stage including consultations, applications and ranking processes;
- Identify appropriate funding opportunities and provide advice and assistance to other CCC business units to ensure Council pursues all relevant grant opportunities;
- Undertake community consultation and deliver presentations to CCC staff and community, related to grant program information;
- Advise, resource and support community organisations as required in relation to CCC Community Grants Program.
Essential Criteria:
- Higher School Certificate;
- Extensive experience in office management and/or administration;
- Demonstrated experience in managing grant submissions;
- High level of public relation and customer management skills and proven ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders;
- Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent;
- Local Government experience.
